Niantic

Niantic is a coastal town in Connecticut with a cute downtown and a mile-long boardwalk alongside the Niantic Bay. Right on Main Street you will find several stores and restaurants, and this one cute cafe is a great option for vegans:

Cafe Sol

This cute little cafe has outdoor seating for when the weather is nice, and indoor seating for when the weather gets moody, which can happy so close to the ocean.

They serve breakfast all day and have a variety of sandwiches, salads, and burgers. There are a few vegan items on the menu, such as the Goddess Wrap pictured here, and many more can be made vegan. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, don’t hesitate to ask for vegan possibilities!

Not far are McCook Point Park and the boardwalk if you want to go for a walk before or after your meal.
