The parking lot (on the upper section) has some picnic tables, and then the trail goes down (some sections have stairs) towards to river (lower area). In the middle section are… the caves!
The prettiest and easiest trail is the one that follows the river. It’s a mostly flat dirt trail, with the occasional root sticking out. You do have to scramble up rocks and roots to access the caves, which makes those trails more difficult, but definitely worth it to see the rock formations and the roots of the trees intertwined in the rocks on the cliff line. The caves are small but cool: there is even one section where you can crawl inside a tunnel!
I hiked a total of three miles. To watch my hike in this park, click here!
